With Egypt going back to political chaos and Ahmed, who normally answers email within minutes, going silent, we&#8217;ve started to get a little bit worried. However, today Ahmed has resurfaced. All documents are fine he said but he expressed concerns about the our planned stop in Port Said &#8211; the port of entry and one of the three cities currently under martial law. At this point, we&#8217;re not overly concerned as we think the media are &#8211; as so often &#8211; exaggerating and we have\u00a0Achim who prentends to\u00a0know Egypt well. We&#8217;re looking forward to learning what Ahmed&#8217;s contingency plan avoiding Port Said will look like and in the meantime we continue with our flight preparations which at this point mainly consist\u00a0of writing this blog.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ahmed, that&#8217;s the most important person at the moment, deciding about the fate of our little adventure.
